Hello Jonathon, I've got one of those exact binoculars. Can these be repaired for double vision etc. Would you please do a video on how to desemble the Sonagor binoculars. Also any advice on how to fix double vision/collimation on parallel double barrel compact binoculars?

Reading some of these comments had me in stitches! :) ...but seriously people , if you are interested in buying a pair of bino's or telescope for that matter, there is a golden mathematical rule... for every inch ( 25.4mm ) of the diameter ( objective lens ) the optimum power ( as in x times magnification ) is 50x per inch. Any claims other than this can be classed as horse shit!. Do some research and educate yourselves before buying. :)

As you can see by the photos I tested the phone adapter by taking a phone of a power pole on the next block and you can see the results. It took a couple of minutes to line the phone camera up to the eye piece, there’s a bit of a learning curve, but once it was longed up it stayed in place without any issues. So far I’m impressed with the feel and the weight, the neck strap is wide and soft so it feels good on my neck. I look forward to using it with my friend and grandson in Big Bend!

I just bought the 15x - 70x zoom model. It focuses upto 45x but from that to 70x it wont focus properly

Late with my comment I know , but this video is just sales patter , all zoom binoculars are shite , always have been and always will be , they maybe okay at 30× but when you zoom in the exit pupil get ridiculously small that you're looking through something that's so dark and a hole that's smaller than a pinhole that renders them useless with an object lens of 70mm . It's physics and nothing can be done about it , they're okay for people who know diddly squat about binoculars .

Anyone who think such kind of binoculars are good is ignorant. First of all: even the lowest magnification is far above what's handholdable, and provides a pretty dim image. At the higher range of magnification the image will soon be blurry and with a lot of chromatic abberation. Apart from that you will have a serious collimation problem. Avoid this nonsense and get quality binoculars with useful magnification instead.

Better go to the shop to buy Binoculars. I bought on line, so disappointed. The Magnification is not the same as advertised.Been cheated. In the advertisement it said 80x80 but like 8x10.

I got them and it takes a little time to get use to them. Mine work fine 30 or 160. Love them. Just try them as they are not every body's cup of tea. I am keeping mine.10/10.

The problem with all these powerful binos is the eye lenses size. To get a sharp clear view you need at least 22mm or larger. These are probably half that size, which means you get double vision.
